Sunday, February 22: Pie Workshop with Guest Teacher: Keia Mastrianni from Milk Glass Pie
Spend a Sunday afternoon with one of our favorite NC bakers and learn the ins and outs of pie making. Attendees will make pie dough from scratch, practice the art of rolling and crimping, and will make a seasonal strawberry pie with cornmeal crumble and fruit galette from start to finish. Snacks and pie will be provided and every attendee receives a copy of the Practice Makes Pie zine, written and developed by Keia Mastrianni, plus more in-class recipes to take home.

When: Sunday, February 22nd, 3 pm - 7 pm
Who: Baker Keia Mastrianni will be leading the workshop, check our her work and website. Christina Balzebre, baker/owner of Levee, will be assisting and hosting. The class will be held in the new Levee kitchen expansion. This hopefully the first of many workshops to come!
You’ll go home with the pie and galette you make from scratch, the zine by Keia, and any other merch you’d like to purchase.
